Welcome to Voices of the World — a space for reflections on Indigenous cosmologies, art, literature, memory, and humanity’s relationship to the living world. Drawing from years spent immersed in Maya ceremonial life in Guatemala, as well as work in art criticism, photography, and cultural writing, this publication explores ways of perceiving time, nature, creativity, and consciousness across cultures and traditions.

Alongside essays and visual reflections, the publication also gathers conversations, recordings, and readings from past radio interviews, podcasts, and current book projects. Some pieces emerge from lived experience with Maya communities and ceremonial practice; others from encounters with art, architecture, music, literature, and contemporary society.

Voices of the World is conceived not as a fixed doctrine, but as an open dialogue — a place where different traditions, forms of knowledge, and ways of inhabiting the world may encounter one another. In an age increasingly shaped by technology and acceleration, these reflections seek forms of attunement that reconnect human beings with memory, imagination, nature, and the living cosmos.
